Once again, Savannah gets the benefits of a new transplant in Kate Marvel Lewis. A Yoga Teacher, skilled Thai Massage Practitioner and new resident to Savannah, Kate has graciously donated a Thai Massage/Yoga Session for our silent auction. Woo hoo!
Traditionaly Thai Massage, also known as Thai Yoga Therapy, is a therapeutic technique that dates back thousands of year. Client remains relatively passive as the therapist supports them in the stretches and poses. Gentle stretching of the muscles and joints as well as energy line work are all part of Thai Massage. Sessions are performed on a cushioned floor mat and clients wear comfy clothes they can easily stretch and relax in.
The bidding sheet for this amazing session is at the Yoga Co-Op at 2424 Drayton. So get on down to the Co-Op to take a class, register for the event and bid on this great Thai Massage/Yoga session! Bidding at the Co-Op is open until September 23 and final bids will be at the event itself, Saturday, Sept. 24th, 3-5:30 at Mother Mathilda Beasley Park.
